STEADY developed the global digital campaign for the 2009 Nike Free sneaker. We created a full interactive product experience including concept, art direction and development—the highlight being a motion graphic piece, art directed and executed in 3D. The HD-quality video features the Nike Free 5.0 in an anime environment. While primarily designed for the AsiaPac region, the site is now being featured globally.
STEADY worked with Crispin Porter + Bogusky on the website for its iconic BURGER KING WHOPPER VIRGINS documentary, directed by Stacy Peralta. The film captures a 2000-mile trek across the globe to perform “the world’s purest taste test” on people who have never tried a WHOPPER. STEADY developed true-streaming HD-quality video using Flash Media Server, featuring full-screen video playback and a blogable video widget.
I’m proud to announce that STEADY has officially opened it’s doors for business. Co-Founded by myself and Joseph Cartman, STEADY is a creative studio specializing in the digital space and emerging platforms.
MTV Shorts exclusively premiered the animated version of the popular comic book Invincible. To commemorate the premiere we skinned the MTV Shorts site with an all Invincible design.
The MTV Shorts hub was created to house all of the short form content coming from MTV Digital and MTV Mobile. It’s also the spot to find all of the great vintage MTV content from old promos to classic interviews.
Blue Hen Country is my recently launched blog focusing on University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hen sports. The challenge for me is to see just how current I can keep a Delaware sports blog while living in Manhattan. I rarely get to see the Hens play on TV, and it is even rarer that I actually get to see them live. Relying mostly on articles, newsfeeds, message boards and whatever else I can get my hands on, I’ll be attempting to update Blue Hen Country on a daily basis. Wish me luck.
As the senior producer overseeing the partnership between MTV and StarStyle, I spearheaded the effort to get StarStyle’s product widget for Lupe Fiasco’s, “Superstar” video featured on the MTV Buzzworthy blog. StarStyle works with celebrity stylists to get the lowdown on exactly what products are being featured in music videos, in films and on TV. Through their site and embeddable widgets they are then able to offer these products to consumers. Click in to check out the Lupe Fiasco widget and video.
In early 2007, we decided to re-launch all of MTV.com, switching from a Flash interface back to an HTML site. We needed a more responsive site with better navigation and a much more intuitive information design. As a Senior Producer on this project I was part of the team that guided this project through to launch. From overseeing video format conversions to creating wireframes for individual site sections. This project touched every area of MTV.com, which meant it was all hands on deck for any and every task.
As Senior Producer I supervised the redesign and re-launch of the 2.0 version of MTV Overdrive, transitioning from a standalone video player to an embedded, persistent media player that is built into every page on MTV.com.
Microsoft Media Center delivers a powerful yet familiar way to enjoy all of your digital entertainment – photos, music, TV, movies, home videos, radio, and a world of applications and services whether you’re sitting in front of your Windows desktop or across the room with a remote control. Media Center is your all-in-one PC and home entertainment center. We adapted the MTV Overdrive interface to fit into the current information architecture of the MCE while still holding onto Overdrive’s dynamic look and feel. As the Senior Producer on Overdrive I was responsible for making sure we were delivering the hottest video content to Media Center PCs, while at the same time making sure the visual design remained consistent with the original version of Overdrive.
